Sears Tower Skydeck Ledge Set to Open to the Public

Members of the media get a sneak peak and jump up to test the strength of The Ledge, a  series of glass bays that extend out from the103rd floor Skydeck of the Sears Tower in Chicago on July 1, 2009. The Ledge, which is designed to hold over 5 tons and opens to the public on July 2, gives visitors a uniquie view of Chicago from the 4-foot glass extensions.
